Version 8.2 stores the coordinate files on the card and uses the SD card for easy transfer to and from the office PC. The software stores and manages coordinates by point number. The Advanced Solutions module requires the Basic Module, and adds: Double Proportion, Section Breakdown, Curve Design from a PI, Offset Intersections, 3 points on a curve solution, Predetermined areas, Trigonometric level reduction and ASCII transfers. The Field Solutions module adds: Topo/Data collection with stake out of a coordinate point, Simple Baseline-offset locations, Remote Elevation Measurement, scale factor correction, and more; Layout functions include staking solutions along tangents, curves and spirals, equal and unequal vertical curves, straight line and sewer grades, curbs, sub-grades, slope stakes, super elevation, bridge camber, as-built locations with station and offset reporting for located objects (even in a spiral) and more; a two point resection and data communication with most total stations.
